Book Illustrations & Illustrations

In the world of book illustration and standalone artwork, every piece I create is meant to bring words and emotions to life. Whether it's a children’s storybook, illustrations for adults, or a simple visual concept, my goal is always the same: to tell a unique and expressive story through my art.

The Season (Évad) – Board Game Illustration for Müpa

“The Season” or "Az Évad" is a unique board game created for Müpa — the result of an exciting creative process that spanned nearly three months. The game invites players to step behind the scenes of Müpa and curate their own season in the world of music, art, and culture.

While developing the illustrations, my goal was to capture Müpa’s elegant yet playful visual world — using refined details, distinctive shapes, and a harmonious color palette. It was important to me that the game’s atmosphere reflect both the values of the cultural institution and the joy of playing a board game.

During this project, I had the opportunity to work with some fantastic people:
@Zoltán Győri was responsible for the game mechanics, creating a fun and well-balanced system.
Responsible for the beautiful final production of the game @Sándo Kellermayer who paid attention to every small detail to ensure that the final result was not only visually appealing but also exceptional in quality. And of course, the @the Müpa teamwho supported the entire process — inspiring, open, and helpful people without whom this project could not have come to life.

This collaboration was especially meaningful to me because it enriched me not only professionally but personally as well. It was true teamwork — filled with creativity, trust, and enthusiasm.

And last but not least, thank you for the beautiful product photos! The images perfectly capture not only the details of the game, but also the care and atmosphere behind it. @sz.ricsard

ACOTAR 1–2 Exclusive Hungarian -Könyvsárkány Edition

Creating the exclusive Könyvsárkány edition of the first two volumes of the ACOTAR (A Court of Thorns and Roses) series was both a special challenge and an honor for me. The goal was to design a visual world that captures the epic atmosphere of the series while reflecting the exclusivity of a collector’s edition.

The task was not simply to create illustrations, but to develop a cohesive and distinctive visual identity — from typography to color harmony and fine details — ensuring that every copy feels truly special. I also made sure that the artistic elements do more than just decorate the pages: they enhance the atmosphere of the story world and deepen the reader’s emotional engagement.

This project is especially dear to me because it allowed me to showcase both my technical skills (composition, typography, print preparation) and my personal style — all through a book series I’ve been deeply connected to for a long time.

The Secret Society of the Dachshund Brothers (TacsiTesók Titkos Társasága)

A book full of paw prints, adventure, and lots of smiles! 🐶💙 It was an absolute joy and honor to bring the Dachshund Brothers to life. As a dachshund mom myself, this project felt even more personal — I poured the love I have for my own pups into every illustration. I can wholeheartedly recommend Gábor’s book — it’s energetic, funny, fast-paced, and of course… extra dachshund-y! Handing over an illustration is always a bittersweet moment for me: until that point, the drawings are mine — but from then on, they belong to the readers. Still, I know every little Dachshund is in good hands, and I’m sure they’ll bring plenty of smiles to readers of all ages. <3

Puppet of Shadows (Árnyékbáb)

The Réka Rezeda: Árnyékbáb The cover of the novel evokes an elegant, mystical world where natural motifs and darker tones are carefully balanced. My goal was to create a visual that reflects the atmosphere of the story: the interplay of shadow and light, the tension of stepping into the unknown, and the subtle strength of its female characters.

During the design process, I paid special attention to texture and detail — the contrast between metallic elements and deep green tones adds both elegance and mystery to the composition. For me, this project was an exercise in balance: finding harmony between graphic precision and emotional expression. The goal was not simply to create a beautiful cover, but to craft a visual experience that conveys the soul of the book from the very first glance.

The Legends of Hajdú-Bihar County (Hajdú-Bihar megye legendáriuma)

The 2021 edition of The Legends of Hajdú-Bihar County holds special value as it preserves the region’s rich folk traditions and stories. My illustrations aim to capture the atmosphere and magic of these tales, with a strong focus on detailed characters and landscapes. The images not only enhance the book visually, but also deepen its emotional impact, helping the stories come to life even more vividly.

Tabletop Role-Playing Research Group Character Concepts (ASZJK - Asztali Szerepjáték Kutatócsoport karakter tervezetek)

I joined this project through a graphic design competition, where the orc character I designed was selected to advance. The winning characters were later featured together on a large printed banner. In the Character Concepts project of the Tabletop Role-Playing Research Group, my focus was on creating visual character designs specifically for role-playing games. During the design process, I placed great emphasis on making each character’s personality and story clearly visible through their appearance. My goal was to create designs that fit seamlessly into any tabletop RPG narrative, while remaining exciting, memorable, and instantly recognizable for players.

The Adventures of Kormesz the Cat

The Adventures of Kormesz the Cat is a sweet, personalized gift book that tells the story of a beloved cat. The goal of the illustrations was to capture Kormesz’s unique personality and playful nature. Each page is filled with colorful, detailed artwork that brings Kormesz’s adventures to life while creating a heartfelt keepsake for the owner. This book is a truly personal and loving gift — a way to preserve the memory of a special cat forever.

Black Lab Football

This card was created as part of a sporty, dynamic visual identity for Blacklab Football. The goal was to design a visual style that reflects the brand’s energy, precision, and passion for football.

Web Graphics, Web Design

APEXlab Web Graphics

Apexlab (2021–2023)
I created web graphics for Apexlab that supported their digital presence over a two-year period, aligning with their previous branding and profile.

My paintings

I work with watercolor and traditional aquarelle techniques. What I love about these mediums is that they allow for fast, free expression, while still making it possible to build up layers and capture delicate details.
